Working Studentship/Internship

A training option here whereby you don’t have to sign up to a Traineeship or Apprenticeship leading to BTEC or City & Guilds Horse Care qualifications.  Days and Hours will be the same as for an apprentice or staff member. You will be paid at the National Minimum Wage for your age for the hours you work.

You will receive & pay for off-the- job specific Training towards the new (announced July 2017) BHS Equine Excellence Pathway qualifications. We will chat with you what career pathway you would like to choose from.

This option will allow you to progress through and log your training towards the new BHS Equine Excellence Pathway qualifications at a pace you are comfortable with and believe us – we won’t hold you back if you are well motivated! Please ask for more information on this option.

We have had several students on this option and most opt to receive 3 x 2-hour Ride & Care sessions on weekdays. A minimum of 2 sessions must be undertaken to keep up with other students here.

Student Livery: Subject to space we can sometimes offer Student Livery here whilst training.

Accommodation: Likewise, we may be able to offer accommodation here but only for over 18’s and there will be fees to pay. Please ask for further information.
